About Me

I’m Natalia. And this blog is my flow zone. We all have one (or more) but sometimes it’s hard to discover yours. Finding that thing/activity that has that “I don’t know what” that takes over you until you completely lose track of time and want to dedicate to it exclusively, sometimes is the result of research trial and error, a risky decision or – as it happened in my case- it’s just the result of coincidence.

This thing of being a blogger crossed my path when I least expected and, although Colorclap was born very naively, it aroused my curiosity and develops through exploration, leading me to “see” with new eyes my day by day and letting me rediscover things that I once took for obvious.

So here I am, letting myself -or at least trying- go with the flow, giving life eternal through photos and words to those moments that are worth collecting.

Yo soy Natalia.

I had been want it for year… and finally, it’s mine! I have my own, beautiful and perfect, kitchen mini-garden.

The idea to have it came to my mind long time ago, but I didn’t have enough space in neither of my old apartments, and used to think that taking care of herbs and spices was going to be hard.

But no, apparently (and according to the Internet’s wisdom) it’s easier than it looks. And right now my balcony has room enough, which is simply perfect. So, no more excuses.

I just waited for spring, and when the first chance to take off my sweater arrived, I started making plans and looked for ideas to make it look both beautiful and practical.

What a surprise! Fran took advantage of the situation and when I woke up the morning of my birthday (the first week of April), I had the most awesome and gorgeous kitchen mini-garden structure that you can imagine ♡ The best part? He made it!

I know, I’m a lucky girl.

He was working at our neighbor’s place, concealing his evil plans all the time. And, also, he took the chance to take pictures of some steps of the process.

So here is it! An easy: How to Make Your Own Kitchen-Garden

I hope you find this DIY useful (and pretty).

Meanwhile, I’ll be praying so my herbs won’t die.
