A few months ago my boyfriend for 5 years and I, decided to make our first investment together, no, it wasn’t a house or a car (budget issues), anyway, the agreement was buy a good camera. He is a designer so he knows something about photography (Ad moment: he designs everything for Colorclap and this is his site) and we asked for an extra advice from some professional photographer friends (Thanks Ari and Mr. Das) to make our decision. Finally the lucky choose was an amazing Canon EOS Rebel T5i.
This year has been one of the best of my life, since I moved to Spain, a whole new world of opportunities opened in more ways that I ever imagined. One of those opportunities was finding the Confucius Institute, my mandarin school for the last 8 months and the people who gave me the chance to participate in a scholarship to go and study in China for two weeks.
Summer is almost here and that means: vacations! So I’m pretty excited to have more time to do my stuff and update many things around here, you’ll see. Anyway, back to this post, I just figured that without noticing it, summer vibes have gotten me and my nails because if you see my last post you’ll see that I used warm colors (like red, fuchsia, orange, etc.) in almost all of then I swear it wasn’t on purpose.
Summer is almost here and I’m really lucky because I live in a city near the ocean, so my swimsuit is ready to go. The other good news about my current hometown for the incoming hot days is called horchata or ornate. It’s a cold bevarage originally from Alboralla (a valencian town) where the chufa (basic ingredient) is harvested and, it goes well with fartons, a typical sweet bread.
I have to confess, I’m guilty of using jeans almost every day and I love it. It’s really easy to just put it on every morning but I’m making my best to not use it as a uniform, however when I found this appliqués from Revlon I couldn’t resist to buy it and without noticing it, it matched with one of my H&M jeans (don’t worry, I didn’t wear all my outfit in light blue jean).
I have to confess, having a blog have been much harder than I thought. The idea of this space was born when I was unemployed as a way to spend my free time doing something that made my happy, but nowadays, between my master and my internship, I have to push myself to update de blog, so please forgive me for being so inconsistent.
As many of you already now, I’m back to college, which makes me a student, which reduces my budget to one of a student, so I have to be very careful with my daily expenses. The good news is that I have taken this moment of life as an opportunity to find new places that have, as we say, “the three B’s”: Bueno, Bonito y Barato (good, beautiful and economical).
Hey everyone! I have to start this post sharing with you a choice I made recently: I’m going to change a little bit the focus of this is space! Since Colorclap started almost a year ago many things have changed (I moved to a new country, went back to collage for a master and, basically, a lot of things in my lifestyle changed too), and because of that, creating tutorials wasn’t doing it for me anymore.
As many of you probably saw on my Instagram I went to Venice for Carnaval, which happened to be the same day of Valentine’s Day! So it was a kind of a 2 in 1 colortrip. I had already been there a few years ago with my family but was in the middle of summer, so this time the experience was completely different, I went with some friends and the city was full of people wearing masks and costumes, and of course couples taking a romantic gondola tours.
Getting used to new stuff.
